A Registered Gas Installer is a Gas Technician or Gas Installer who has completed the required gas installation training and who has the necessary SAQCC registration to carry out gas installations to the legal standard.
SAQCC is essentially an official list of all businesses and gas practitioners “ installer” who are trained and legally qualified to work on gas systems and or equipment/appliances. In order to work as a gas installer, you will need to be on this register of the SAQCC.
Who Should Register?
Any person who maintains or carries out gas installation work of any magnitude should be registered with the SAQCC.
